Meet Susan Brelsford, Assistant Principal
Susan Brelsford

Greetings & Salutations! As I begin my second year as Assistant Principal of Somerset Berkley Regional High School, I am excited to continue working with our dynamic staff and students as well as the communities of Somerset and Berkley.  Our new building project will certainly have its challenges over the next few years, but the benefits are truly exciting for all involved.  I encourage all of our students to get involved in their school community and make themselves the best SBRHS student they can be.  Enjoy your high school experiences and work hard—you will appreciate the rewards for the rest of your lives!

Originally from Stratford, Connecticut, I attended Stonehill College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science with a minor in Secondary Education. I then earned my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership at Bridgewater State College. I am currently enrolled in a doctoral program at Northeastern University and expect to finish my dissertation within the next year. Before working at SBRHS, I spent eleven years teaching biology at Apponequet Regional High School in Lakeville, MA where I was also Curriculum Leader of the Science Department. I look forward to working with all of you to provide the students of SBRHS with a 21st century education that will prepare them to become effective leaders in today’s global society.
